No rest for the unprepared...

Fiat closes deal to take bulk of Chrysler's assets
DETROIT (AP) — Italy's Fiat is the new owner of the bulk of Chrysler's assets, closing a deal Wednesday that saves the troubled U.S. automaker from liquidation and places a new company in the hands of Fiat's CEO.
The deal clears the way for a new, leaner Chrysler Group LLC to emerge from bankruptcy protection minus billions in debt, 789 underperforming dealerships and burdensome labor costs that nearly sank the storied automaker.
Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne immediately was named CEO of the new company, which said in a statement that it would soon reopen Chrysler factories that were idled during the bankruptcy process, costing the automaker $100 million per day.
The new company will focus on smaller vehicles, areas in which Chrysler was weak.
"Work is already under way on developing new environmentally friendly, fuel-efficient, high-quality vehicles that we intend to become Chrysler's hallmark going forward," the new company said in a statement.
The Italian automaker won't put any money into the deal but will give Chrysler billions worth of small car and engine technology.
"We intend to build on Chrysler's culture of innovation and Fiat's complementary technology and expertise to expand Chrysler's product portfolio both in North America and overseas," Marchionne said in a statement.
The sale to Fiat SpA marks a victory for the Obama administration, which shepherded Chrysler into Chapter 11 protection on April 30 with the hope that the company would emerge in a matter of months with a new partner.

But trust me, in 20 years you'll look back at photos of yourself and
Recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before
You and how fabulous you really looked….You're not as fat as you
Imagine.
Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
Effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
Bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
Never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
On some idle Tuesday.
Do one thing everyday that scares you
Sing
Don't be reckless with other people's hearts, don't put up with

Chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don't
Congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
Choices are half chance, so are everybody else's. Enjoy your body,
Use it every way you can…don't be afraid of it, or what other people
Think of it, it's the greatest instrument you'll ever
Own...
Dance… even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.
Read the directions, even if you don't follow them.
Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

BRUSSELS -- The Belgian bodybuilding championship has been canceled after doping officials showed up and all 20 competitors fled.
"I have never seen anything like it and hope never to see anything like it again," doping official Hans Cooman said yesterday.
Cooman said the bodybuilders just grabbed their gear and ran off when he came into the room.

We are at the redwoods

We are at the redwoods
Its cool and misty
With streaks of sunlight penetrating the forest floor
Beneath our feet is an ocean of four leaf clovers
Not 3 but all of them four
And we sit surrounded by silence
Till a touch of sparkle catches our attention
We are cuddled close
And both of us look to the left
Up a stream of sunlight
And we see glittery dust
As magical as our Love
It floats around us
The 4 leaf clovers seem to rise
And brighten
And turn a shade of green that's golden in hue
We breath deep
Feeling a slight intoxication
Of the mist, glittery dust cocktail
And we become closer
To each other
Feeling the magic of love
Embrace us
Brightening us
Filling us
Our faces glow
As our lips meet
Realizing we, our love, has just been blessed by the red wood fairies.
And so we kiss
To seal the
Gift
